Desert Academy Facilities

Creating a living classroom required significant investment into the appropriate structures and facilities neccessary for an optimal learning and training experience.

With this in mind, we saw it fit to develop infrastructure that can house 24 trainees, a small classroom and a temporary training kitchen. A proper school complex  (comprising a classroom, training kitchen/restaurant, library and computer room and student accommodation) is a work in progress and will hopefully be completed by 2017.Once both capacity building projects are complete, the programme will be able to accommodate 32 trainees at Wolwedans and 48 trainees at NICE, increasing the overall potential capacity to 80 trainees at any given time.
